Swimming

Tuesday, August 16th:

We enjoyed a fun night in the pool! Even Bryce got in for a few minutes before bedtime. Tyson is becoming quite the little fish!  His new favorite thing is to throw a toy into the deep in and dive down to get it. Sometimes, he needs us to give him a push down but I have a feeling that won't last long! Nick has been teaching Tyson how to "cannon ball!"  Also, Tyson does this silly straight body jump in...he tries to keep his body as straight as he can and just leans off the side!

Mellow Weekend

Friday, August 12th -- Sunday, August 14th:

For once, we didn't have a single plan this weekend.  On Friday night we enjoyed hanging out and watching the Olypmics and relaxing.
Tyson likes to lay right next to "Baby Bryce."  I'm pleasantly surprised how well Tyson has adjusted to having a little brother!  Sometimes I'll over hear Tyson say, "I love you baby!" Melts my heart every time! Tyson is constantly wanting to cover Bryce with his own blankets.  Bryce doesn't seem to mind but I keep warning Tyson that Bryce will grow bigger and start to crawl and then walk.  He won't always just lay on the floor.  I guess only time will tell how Tyson will handle it once it happens.😉
Saturday mornings are the best...watching Daniel Tiger in our PJ's!  Bryce loves to suck on his fingers and managed to get both pointers in his mouth, silly guy!
We headed to Hobby Lobby to get some decorations for Tyson's new dinosaur room and the whale bathroom.
While Tyson was napping, Bryce helped me organize our closet...
And, after many tries, he learned this new trick!  Bryce can roll over from back to front!  He was pretty surprised and not sure what to do once he made it to his belly.
Our weekend ended with Daniel Tiger and popcorn on the couch!  Happy Boy!

Bryce is 17 weeks!

Wednesday, August 10th:

Bryce is 17 weeks old today!! He was a little too distracted by the elephant to give Mommy any smiles. Plus, he was not in the best mood for his pictures...turns out he was hungry and much happier after drinking a bottle.  Ps, he is starting to do that thing Tyson did when he sees his bottle...he gets super excited and starts smacking his lips!

Sleepy Boys

Thursday, August 11th

I love checking on my boys while they are sleeping.  They look so peaceful and cute! I can help but take pictures!

Cool Summer Evening

Tuesday, August 9th:

I got home late tonight so Dad was in charge of dinner...which meant Tyson was in heaven with nuggets and fries! Nick even let him watch the IPad while eating!  Lucky boy😊
During dinner Bryce needed something to chew on too! We think he might be teething...
After dinner, Tyson wanted to play Audrianna's old vMotion video game...Dad is starting him young, so in a few years he will have someone to play video games with!
It was unusually cool tonight in Boise, only 72 degrees! We decided to walk to the park and let Tyson burn some energy before bed.  Dad and Tyson had fun going down the slides while I walked around to keep Bryce asleep.

Quick Trip to the Park

October 12th:

Tyson and I made a quick stop at Gerber Park to enjoy the fall sunshine.  Tyson face lit up and he was beaming ear to ear as we walked up to the park.  At first he was very content just walking up and down the ramp on the playground, but then he quickly found the double yellow slides.  We went down the slide side by side holding hands and then he was all ready to go by himself!  It is amazing to me how quickly toddlers learn how to do things . . . for example, all Tyson wanted to do was climb up the slide after every turn (and of course, he did it with the help of Mommy) and once at the top he could turn around, get his legs out from underneath of him, put either hand on the side of the slide, and last he would push himself down the slide.  It was priceless to watch!!!  I think Tyson went up and down that slide over 50 times! We made our way to the swings, he was super content swinging and loving life!  It was a perfect pit spot at the park!

Labor Day Weekend

August 31st -- September 1st:

I am so glad to be home and spending time with my family!  Audrianna had a little playground accident at school and ended up with a broken left thumb.  Luckily, it was a hairline fracture and doesn't need a hard cast, but will be sporting this black soft one for the whole month of September!
Before taking Audrianna home, we stopped for ice cream at yogurtz!  It was delicious and deserved two thumbs up from Nick and Audrianna.  It was Tyson first yogurt experience and it's safe to say, he is a huge fan!
On Labor Day, Nick wanted to take the canoe out for "a few hours," which turned into all afternoon.  In the end, it was well worth it and a perfect way to spend my day off!  It was such a peaceful afternoon, the weather was perfect and Tyson had a blast!  He loves to lean over the side and put his hands in the water. We ended up finding a sandy beach to play at and Nick even caught a fish!  It was a great way to end the weekend . . . hanging with my two favorite guys!
