We only had a few hours with Audrianna but we made the best of our time and had such a good evening! It started out with Audrianna wanting to use her rollerblades. She really wanted to go to the skate park and try them out. We happened to run into Anna and Kingston, so they joined us and we all walked together. The weather was beautiful, it is so nice that it's finally warming up! Once we got the skate park, Audrianna quickly realized that it was extremely difficult on rollerblades and after two hard falls on her bottom we headed back home. Next, Audrianna really wanted to go play at the park, so Nick rode his bike and Audrianna rode on her razor to the park across the street while I stayed home and made dinner. After dinner, Nick and Audrianna played a racing video game before she had to go home. It was just a good day!

20th Century Lanes
March 3rd:
We went bowling with Granddad Davis today! The bowling alley was a little busier than we expected but we had fun. Audrianna wanted bumpers on her turn and because 20th Century Lanes is older, we all had to have the bumpers up and I used them to my full advantage! There was a little incident were Audrianna and Nick accidently dropped a ball on Audrianna's foot but the basket of french fries and soda made it all better! Nick always ends up bowling the high score, but I was pretty excited that I managed to get the high score during our second game!

Jennifer's Birthday
March 2nd:
We decided to celebrate Jennifer's birthday with a fun evening at my parents house! The kids were so excited to see each other and play together. My mom had yummy appetizers, followed by pizza and salad for dinner. The weather was beautiful for a change, so my dad brought out his fire pit and we all enjoyed being outside. The kids had fun running around the yard and playing with Hannah's car. One kid would ride, one would push, and the other two would be the "car washers." Audrianna could barely fit but somehow managed to get in and it was not long before she tipped over! We ended up roasting marshmallows and making smores . . . delicious! We had such a good evening and the kids all played together without any fights. Jennifer's birthday was a success!

Quick Bogus Trip!
March 2nd:
Our weekends always seem to fill up! However, we only have a few weekends left to take advantage of Nick and Audrianna's ski passes, so we headed up to Bogus for a super quick trip! We got there just in time for Nick and Audrianna to take a few runs, eat lunch, and then put Audrianna in her third ski lesson. This time she was in a level six and lucked out to be the only kid in the class. She impressed her coach, whom said she should be on a ski team. The weather was not quite as beautiful as last time and a little windy. The snow is beginning to melt and as Nick said, "have the messy, wet spring feel" and the parking lot was a sloppy mess!
Happy Hour at Barbacoa
March 1st:
Girls night! Thanks to Kristen Elle, a big group of us meet at Barbacoa for happy hour, which turned into four hours of eating, drinking, and girl talk! Not only did we have a great evening hanging out, but had multiple drinks purchased for our table, which I didn't get to enjoy. And, randomly one rich business man that covered the entire tab (except mine and Nikki's, we had already paid!)

Crazy Hair Day
March 1st:

In honor of celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday and National Read Across America Day, Audrianna's school had a different dress up theme each day this week. Today happens to be . . . crazy hair day! Audrianna had a very clear idea of what she wanted her "crazy" hair to look like, which started with not brushing it and making it all messy. Originally, she wanted to put in multiple pony tails and have them all spike up. We attempted but without the proper hair supplies, Audrianna chose these bright colored hair extensions and wanted them randomly throughout her hair. We topped off her look with a new bright shirt from Justice and her new hot pink gloves. I thought she looked adorable!
First Kicks? (21 weeks)
March 1st:
I've been patiently waiting to feel our little guy move. Every once in a while, when we are watching TV, I think I feel those little butterfly flutters that all mom's talk about. This morning while I was putting on makeup, I had my belly leaned up against the counter and I am pretty sure that I was in our little boy's space because he definitely kicked back! It happened so fast and I haven't felt that strong kick again, but I know it's right around the corner. It makes me excited for when Nick and Audrianna can feel him kick too!
