I just had the best baby shower yesterday! I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends! Jane and Anna hosted my shower at Jane's house with the help of Kristen Thomas. It was such a great morning and awesome to be showered with gifts for the baby. Jane's house was all decked out for the shower. We had a yummy brunch of muffins, egg casserole, fruit, veggies, pesto dip and mimosas!
Anna made this adorable diaper cake with a bath-time theme! It is so cute that it will be hard take apart.
Kristen Thomas organized the cutest idea . . . a cookie bar with milk for dessert! The girls (Kristen vD, Kristen E, Nikki, Stephanie, Jamie, & Lacy) all made different cookies and they were all delicious. There were little white bags so all the guest could take home an assortment of cookies!
Opening presents was a little exhausting but super fun! I feel overwhelmed by all the love and support from my friends! I was totally spoiled with lots of cute baby boy outfits and PJ's, blankets, baby necessities, nursery items, and of course, books!
There were two games, the "candy bar" game and "guess how much" game. The candy bar game was definitely a big hit! Anna made this cute boards that had words pertaining to pregnancy or delivery and each corresponded to a candy bar. The guest who shouted out the correct answer won a king size candy bar! It was fun but did get a little competitive between Kristen vD and Stephanie! The guess how much game was won by Nikki. It is amazing how fast baby items add up! Thanks Joy for all the necessities and helping Anna with this game.
I tried to get a picture with everyone who came but a few people managed to escape the pictures!
Everyone left the shower with a bag of cookies, a prize from the candy bar game and of course, a little travel sized hand-sanitizer! Thanks again for everyone who came and showered me with gifts and a huge THANKS to Jane, Anna, and Kristen!
