July 31st:
Today Tyson and I made it into work to visit everyone! Tyson was a little cranky but it was nice to have lots of hands that wanted to hold him. It was so good to see everyone, especially these two favorites!

Tyson's 2 Weeks Old
July 29th:
I can't believe that our little guys is already two weeks! I am beginning to see a little double chin when he nurses. It is amazing how fast he is changing, which is probably only something that I can see. He still makes the cutest faces when he has a full belly from nursing. We have really been working on making him nurse for a full feeding, he was quite the little snacker to begin with. I think Tyson's favorite part of the day is when Daddy comes home and he can nap on his chest!
We did go to the doctor and finished the second part of Tyson's PKU test. He was not a big fan of the heel poke!
We usually go on a walk in the morning and Tyson falls asleep half way through but wakes up when the stroller stops moving.
Here are some sweet sleeping pictures that I snap quickly cause he doesn't sleep on his own very long!
I can't wait to see what this week holds for us!

Tyson's Visitors
July 29th :
We love visitors! Today Kristen brought my a Jimmy John sandwich for lunch! It was delicious and great to visit with her! She even held Tyson, I think she has a soft spot for him.

Hot Air Balloon Ride
July 25th:
This morning we finally went on our hot air balloon ride! Nick purchased a groupon about three years ago and we have been scheduled to fly many times but every time the weather didn't cooperate on days that Audrianna was with us. This morning the weather was beautiful and the winds appeared to be in our favor, captain Bruce said it was a go! Audrianna was super excited and was ready to help get the balloon all ready.
During all the prep, I must admit that was a little nervous but there was no turning back at that point. The basket was completely different than what I had imagined. It was sectioned off into four areas, so Nick, Audrianna, and I were in one section. I stayed completely still the whole ride but of course Audrianna was moving about! We took off a little after 7 am . . . and yes, I was still very nervous but didn't want to show it because I didn't want it change Audrianna's experience. Unfortunately, once we got up around 700 feet there was no wind to take us anywhere. So, for our entire ride we mainly stayed over the fairgrounds and the Fred Meyer parking lot. We did end up having to land in a super tight spot which captain Bruce made look easy! All and all it was fun and a great experience to share with Nick and Audrianna. Most important, she had a blast!

Tyson's First Week
July 22nd:
To end Tyson's first week, he had his first bath at our house. He still has his cord so Nick and I tag teamed him and gave him a sponge bath. I must admit, I think Nick was a little better than I was a giving him a bath. Tyson's favorite part was getting his head washed!
Trying to figure our little guy out has been a rollercoaster! Nick and I think we know what he likes one minute and then find out we are wrong the next! We did take Tyson to his first doctor's visit with Dr. Sarah Gerrish. He checked out great but only 5 lbs 13 oz, down 2 oz from his discharge weight. We will go back in about two weeks.
We had a couple visitors on the 18th! Kristen Elle and the Leatham family.
I spent most of my time holding Tyson and being in awe that he is ours! It was nice to have Nick home to help me during the day and MB made us wonderful dinners each night. I did feel like I was struggling with breast feeding and went to a lactation specialist, who reassured me that I was doing just fine. I could just all day and watch him sleep. He makes the cutest faces when he is trying to wake up!
Here is Tyson waking up from a nap.
On Sunday, we made our first big outing to Hannah's 5th birthday party at Ivywild poolTo end Tyson's first week, he had his first bath at our house. Mr. Tyson's First Day Home!
July17th:
I was ready to get discharged from the hospital! Audrianna got dropped just in time to help Nick change Tyson's diaper and put him in his first onesie. Next was to see how he liked his carseat. His first initial reaction was to cry but quickly calmed down!
Tyson did pretty good with the car ride home, he only whimpered a few times but with the help of big sister, he was content.
Upon arriving home, we brought Tyson in through the front door and gave him the grand tour of his new home! Our house smelled delicious because MB had dinner cooking in the oven.
We tried Tyson in his new swing but he did last long before he was happily napping with Daddy on the couch.
I am going to try and take weekly pictures so we decided to try one . . . it's hard to capture the cuteness of a two day old! These aren't the best but here is our tiny little guy just two days old!
The rest of the night flew by, Tyson wanted to be held during dinner, he pooped in MB hands, and Nick and I didn't get much sleep!
