40 Weeks!

July 12th:

Today was suppose to be the day, but little Tyson has decided to stay in my belly.  We had an appointment this afternoon and my doctor is comfortable waiting another week before scheduling an induction.  My blood pressure was a little higher than normal, 130/90 so they tested my urine for protein which was negative and took a blood sample.  Dr. Parson checked me and I am currently dilated to 1.5 cm and 80% effaced, so better than last time.  Tyson is measuring good and had a strong heart beat.  I have an appointment on Monday, July 15th in morning to re-check my blood pressure.

40 Weeks

Due Date!

I don't mind letting him wait until he is ready to come out but I did have a few bad days this week. If I do too much during the day, I pay for it at night because my back hurts so much that I can't sleep.  It is miserable!  Then trying to get ready for work, on no sleep and aching back is exhausting.  Nick has been great and takes time to rub my back every morning!  Also, I am very lucky to have the most awesome co-workers that let me rest in the back on lunch and when there are no patients.  I wasn't planning on going to work on Monday, but at this point I might be there!
